I kind of agree with your colleague, but only partly. BEA have two complete portal stacks, Oracle already has two complete portal stacks..... so I agree with Bex that I can&#039;t see the synergies on the portal front. I dont know enough in depth about the Oracle middleware stack to offer an amateur analysis.

However back to your unnamed colleague. I think the best Portal - Documentum ingetration I have seen was the Plumtree / BEA &#039;Aqualogic User Interaction&#039; on. Hopefully if Oracle decide they don&#039;t need it all they will sell it off, and ECM could snap it up. It would provide an alternative front end to EMC content management apps, without forcoing one into the Sharepoint morass, so fingers crossed eh ?]]></description>
